Well if you liked it Rod chances are I would too. Might have to sell my existing BD now and pick up the 2-pack. Probably should have just done that in the first place.

I bought the 2-pack because Amazon had it for $19, could not pass that up. I'll let you know how it is, I had skipped it due to bad reviews as well.

This Gun for Hire (1942) - 5/10

I found this noir classic to be only so-so. Its strength is Alan Ladd's excellent performance as a double-crossed assassin. Robert Preston and Veronica Lake, the top billed stars, were awful.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - 8/10; where did Rooney Mara come from? She's awesome in this.
+1

IN my heart I feel she should have won the Oscar.

A League of Their Own - 5/10 Not really a good movie by any stretch of the imagination. Geena Davis was very annoying.

I watched that a couple night ago would probably give it a 8.5/10 or so as someone who hasn't seen the other film or read the book.

good to hear, just bought it based off of the scores when it was first released, the commercials did little for me, and I haven't seen the other version
