I'd always choose the bike. Pairing this with the Sideshow Scout trooper/Speeder Bike PF is going to be epic!

I totally agree. The statue is not only perfect as it is, but it also feels unique among all the other Maul statues in the market.

Plus Sideshow has already done like 2 or 3 museum poses of him, it's nice to get an action pose..

I have a very cool update for you guys! We will be interviewing the sculptor of the Darth Maul statue, David Giraud, on our Shelf Space live-stream show once the piece comes out late this month or early next month. While we have interviewed sculptors on our show before (e.g., Caleb Nefzen, Marco Plouffe), this will be the first time we actually review a piece with the sculptor live, in person. Among other things, we'll be looking at prelim designs, discussing initial concepts, the evolution of the project... Should be lots of fun!

Stay tuned for news!

It's been lots of fun doing it so far!

For those who may be new to Shelf Space and to the behinds the scenes dynamic we typically present on the show, we do our best to give you the who, the what, the when and the where of all things that take up space on your shelf. We've interviewed artists and statue company owners, all of whom were generous with their time to discuss their histories, inspirations, and insights on projects they've been attached to. We have many more planned episodes for this coming year! You can follow us on FB and on You-Tube. Stay tuned!
