They said it is shipping in one piece so no seam marks. The prototype was in several pieces because its easier to move and set to display like at the above event.
Oh, that's amazing news! Thanks for sharing.

Now fingers crossed for factory paintjob.

Finally ended up POing this. The piece just looks so impressive especially at the size its gonna be 116cm long!

Interestingly its limited to 150 pieces, seems really low. Maybe it didn't sell that well. Hopefully that doesn't halt the rest of their planned line.

I bet it's more the Giga just wasn't the star villain it was rumored to be. If they make a JP/JW Rex that size or a Velociraptor they will get a lot more. The funny thing is that completists will want this one later and it will be VERY pricey..

This is an interesting piece. Interesting choice to start with this dinosaur too.

Hearing more QC issues from Spiral again, mostly with the recent Godzilla pieces. Starting to wonder about whether I should have preordered this one.

Hello William,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us.

The final sample production will be shown within a few weeks. We have made adjustments to the eyes(from decal to glass eyes). And that required approval from Universal Pictures, hence the delay.

The product should be ready for delivery within February 2024 at latest.

Glass eyes sounds like a plus. Guess they didn't want to be upstaged by the bust one? lol

Thanks for the update!

They made an official statement via facebook :

" TMC-JWG001: Giganotosaurus will be delayed for 2 months and will be ready to ship in March 2024 as we implemented glass eyes on our statue. This change also required additional approval from licensor, hence longer production time. We apologize for any inconvenience occured due to delayed shipment."
