Halo 3's almost here
So who's getting this one? I'm an fps junkie, so of course I'm picking this one up as soon as I can. I might be one of the few who doesn't play this online though. I've found the online community for this game to be almost unbearable. Plus, fps games to me at least always seems to devolve into a pointless, run and gun tedium when you play them online.
I was WAY more excited about the launch of Halo 2 than I am for this one. Part 2 was such a disappointment from a single player standpoint that it's killed alot of my anticipation for part 3. It's kinda like when the second Matrix movie came out. Everyone loved the first one and couldn't wait for the sequel. After the second one came out everyone seemed bummed and suddenly became alot less interested in the third movie. At least with this one, we know the story will end (no infuriating cliffhanger). Well, I assume it does anyways. I've done everything I can to avoid reading anything about the story in this one.

Halo 3 is the only reason I got a 360. I don't even play the story modes, I just enjoy playing against my brothers and friends.

Your insane!!! GOW is just as good if not better that Halo. Both games are equally worth getting the system for.

a 360 is on my wishlist for Christmas this year, Santa. I've been a g good guy this year!!!
I'm with you, Endless,..it will basically be the ONLY reason why I get a 360 as well.
