Diamond Select Premiere Collection Venom

Hi fellow forumites!
I didn't see a dedicated thread for DS Venom, so decided to start one. Got this bad boy in this weekend and wanted to share in hand pics.
Couple of things, the box is big! About the size of the HT HB box and almost as tall as the SSC Sentinel! (I don't know how you 1/4 scale collectors do it!)
The statue itself is pretty massive as well.

I wish the stores and companies would revise their descriptions because this thing is 13" tall, not 12".

One thing to note Koto actually painted on that blueish white sheen, so that is paint, not reflections.
Also the green stuff at the bottom isn't as vibrant as in the proto pics. I was thinking of painting it darker, but in person it isn't as bright.

This is great because it seemed to come out very close to the prototype, so this has given me high hopes for Cable and future releases!

Great job Diamond Select and excellent sculpt by Alejandro Pereire!

and did some comparison shots:
(great companion with my Spidey)

Got him too! Great size and weight to him. True 1/6th scale. Impressive

Oh wow he is nicely done alright.
And I'm sure that piece is polystone and no PVC used on him correct?, well beside maybe a certain part of the base, which would be the glass looking thing?

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Is the white paint on venom supposed to be bluish? The Gentle giant Venom statue had issues with blue coloring over the white. Was wondering if this was a common thing for statues.

I have no idea if it is supposed to have any blue in it. I thought the emblem is pure white. Maybe the bluish was for a certain effect?
The DST Venom does not have blue in the white as you can see from the pics, but they did paint some grey in it for shading. Not sure if this answers your question.

Very cool looking! So all of the statues in this line are 1/6?
