The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

AP vs Regular Edition

Quick question for you guys. If you have the opportunity to get an AP of something should you always do that?

Is getting an AP better than getting the Regular Edition of something?

Are you paying more for the AP?
Is the artwork slightly different from the regular run print? Some artists may produce a larger print or may remarque it, or slightly alter it so it is unique from the original run.

In the end, it's really subjective.

APs, nowadays anyway, are generally extra copies of the run which the distributor had leftover from the original run. There is no difference whatsoever with the artwork save for the numbering on the bottom which might say something like AP/25. However, there are some cases where the APs do have differences, i.e., different coloring on the print, which are worth getting.

Yeah, what they said. Nothing really special about an AP in and of itself unless the artist decides to make it more unique by adding something special like a cool remarque. Some artists do this, most don't. If not I certainly wouldn't pay more for an AP.
