I always considered DKR to be either a distopian future vision of the DCU or else an imaginary story, existing on its own and outside any continuity. Either way, it's one of the strongest comic book stories ever created and deserves to stand on its own, despite its mistreatment of Superman as a willing government stooge.
Those ''imagenary'' DC stories feels like they are part of the unknown multiverse cause multiverse is endless... All kinds of stuations and version of characters are excist in it.

But if DC says we have ''imagenary'' stories which are not in our ''real'' multiverse... then so be it...

Frank Miller and John Romita JR on Superman Yr 1? Pretty much zero chance I will enjoy it based on the work these two have done over the last decade. Can't wait for Miller having Lois turn to journalism after a stint as an escort and Lana Lang being the Smallville High mattress.... The guy is beyond disgustingly misogynistic

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I love JRJR work and can't wait to see how this turns out. On a side note JR left marvel at a perfect time back in 2014. The crap marvel is producing today is especially bad.

It was really just an alternate version of Superman where his mind became corrupted as did many people in Batman's alternate future. Even a god-like being like Superman can be influenced by the species he shares planet Earth with, not out of fear, but a deep seated sense to belong as he is a social creature at the end of the day. Perhaps in that timeline he found purpose.

Batman and Superman are two different people, and even if they are both essentially good, they are different, and they will not see eye to eye on everything.

I liked that alternate version, it was interesting.
