Hot Toys gets BTTF license

http://onesixthrepublic.blogspot.fr/...-hot-toys.html

Hot Toys has acquired the Back to the Future license for action figures including approval from Michael J. Fox. There will also be DeLorean vehicles.

This is the best news for Back to the Future collectors .

Character wise I can't see them making anything other than Marty and Doc to be honest.

I just want a decked out DeLorean really.. you know hot toys could give it all the options and details, and they'll find an efficient way to make it look like it's hovering, could make a really cool display.. but i'd get a doc and marty to go with it

Marty McFly (modern (80s), retro 50s with guitar, future with Nikes and hoverboard, western)
Doc Emmit Brown (modern (80s), western)
DeLorean (modular so it can be changed, I'm not going to buy 2-3 of them)

That is all

Hot Toys always announces a lot of licenses acquisitions. But development and production of said characters take a long long time.

But, I'd love to have a Doc and Marty McFly.

Let's hope this will be a first for a realistic wig on a male doll, because I can't imagine Doc with solid plastic hair
