Help...

Hi... some advice please... I bought some items from Ebay ( Like I have done 178 times before) and I got a Tracker number..

Since the package did not arrive after 2-3 weeks I used the tracker number and to my supprise I saw that the package was in the UK and was refused be the adress were the package was sent to.

I live in Sweden... so you can Imagine my supprise when I see my package in the UK, so I call the UK postal Office and ask them to please stop trying to deliver my package to the address that they are trying to deliver it to. I also tell them that the seller is going to contact them and give them the correct address again..

I contact the Seller and tell him the situation and ask him to please contact the POstal Office ( Just like I did, and gave him the phone nr.. )

So his reply is

" What do you want me to do?.. This is the first time I have heard of something like this"..

SO I reply " Well this is a first for me aswell could you please just send me a written confirmation that I can use?"... after that the seller has not responded... Should I open a complaints case on Ebay?.. Any smart ideas on what to do?...

Thanks

....

Did you pay him via paypal with a verified address? If so, open a complaint if the seller does not help get the package to you. You paid for the product and never received it.

E-mail the seller and tell him you are giving him two days to get the issue corrected and the package on it's way to you or you will file a complaint.

i wouldn't even wait the 2 days, file the paypal claim now and if the situation gets resolved another way then drop the claim or pay back the seller if the money gets refunded to you

and once you start the complaint process, do not end it under any circumstances until the statue is in your possession or the money has been refunded. No matter what the seller tells you, don't end it.

I agree. File the claim right away. You can still cancel the claim once you get the item, but if you leave it too long (waiting for the seller to take action) you may just miss your window. Besides, the PO want accept a change of address from you, so the seller has to do it (at least that's how it works here) . . . If he wants to keep his money then he needs to get his act together.

Indeed, this quote says he isn't going to do anything,

" What do you want me to do?.. This is the first time I have heard of something like this"..

perhaps a little persuasion will help

Sorry you too are having issues getting your statue..
Glad to hear you'll more than likely get your money back,
don't forget to notify Ebay, that you never got it,
keep in good w/Ebay is also a key to have at your side
