That one's pretty good imo, maybe he just hates star wars then. Or is a fan and secretly trying to get SS to lose the license so a better company can do it justice :|

As bad as TLJ was, I don't think that's entirely true. I think we're just seeing a lot of mediocre stuff that's hard to get excited for. I'm not sure why they put this one out really so close to the last one. But if Sideshow wish to put out Vader's regularly, they should be at least attempting to better the competition. If this had been on the same level as the Iron studios version (or even better) I imagine we'd all be pretty excitedly waiting for it to arrive. But this really isn't a very good Vader statue sadly, and it comes at a huge financial cost to boot. Sideshow have many wins under their belt despite what some say, when they really want to make a good statue, they can. Hopefully the next Vader (Along with their long suffering Aliens & Predators will receive that kind of treatment.

All it will take is one more really good Star Wars movie and SW fever will no doubt be back in full swing.

I agree with the enthusiasm for star wars being down since the last jedi. However, Sideshow's star wars line has just gotten really stale. I really liked what they did with their old star wars mythos line. Their mythos vader and obi wan are fantastic. I never get bored looking at them.

Their newer pieces are kind of boring and are very traditional. It would be nice to see Sideshow bring some of their more recent innovations used in Rogue, Thor, Magneto, etc, into their star wars line. Also it would be very cool to see more characters like Darth Revan and Thrawn made into premium formats.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.
