BTW, the 1/4 Thanos by Iron Studios/Legacy (also a huge piece) with light up gauntlet is $250 cheaper

I usually phase in and out of hobbies as I get bored. I think my only overall consistent hobby since the 90's has been "X-Men" in general, whether that be TV shows, Movies, Comics, Posters, Action Figures, Video Games, or Statues.

Right now I'm into Marvel/Fox movies, comics, and statues. For a while I was collecting signed photos of the MCU cast. Those get pricey. I got Quicksilver from Age of Ultron pretty cheap, but Star-Lord and Thor were pricey. I tried to find a signed Black Widow but god damn she's expensive.

There are months where I spent $2,000 just on food between groceries and dining out. So, I've wasted money on worse.

I also view the $6K a year I'm spending on health insurance that covers nothing, and only after a $7800 deductible, as far more taxing on my patience than an expensive statue.

I'd reckon some smart collectors even earned money on the hobby, such as those that can get double/triple the retail price after waiting.

Putting aside the price and my reservations about some aspects of the design. I still reckon this is an impressive piece.

A conclusion is simply the place where you got tired of thinking.

Yeah I've got similar hobbies like you guys with Blu-rays\UHD, video games, diecast/resin model cars, electronics, arts such as drawing, painting, etc. Cars are a hobby of mine too but I mostly look at those from afar lol.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

definitely a high price point. i think the piece is near perfect except the price and the placement of GL's ring. i would've preferred it on the ground partially broken next to a cyborg part of flash lightning cowl piece. i don't think they needed batman's cowl on the ground since there are so many batarang's in the body already.

Pass will buy down the road when another seller is ready to lose 300-500.00 on his/her sale. It’s not like this is rare anymore.

And yet in that thread I think I'm the only confirmed individual that is going to preorder.

Supposedly the price is higher than people expected for some reason.
