Everyone raving about her short hair isn't really encouraging SSC to stick to the source material from here on out...
(Unless of course there's an established short haired look that I'm simply unaware of.)

I'd be knocking people over to get to this statue if the EX hair looked a bit more like this.
It's quick and dirty, so don't judge the photoshopping.
She just looks too Powergirl with the short hair. I'm fairly certain I've never read a Supergirl comic where her hair is that short. Looks like I will have to pass after all...

She had fairly short hair in her very first appearance, and the DC Direct Superman & Supergirl statue reflects this.
