I agree. Emma used her sexuality as a weapon. Every bit as much as her powers over the mind and her diamond form. It was another tool in her toolbox that she could break out whenever she needed to.

I like how XM and SS are releasing their 1/4 Xmen pieces at the same time. It kinda feels like the space race between USA and Russia, or the Monday night ratings race between WWF and WCW lol. While we the fans get variety to choose from!

The only ones I like from SS so far are Wolverine, X-23 and possible Rogue... IMO the other SS X-Men have been misses...

I've pre-ordered 7 of XM's X-Men... The only XM ones i'm not crazy about is Iceman and Brown Wolverine... but so far I'm a fan of the others...

Since SS has 2500 regular Wolverine's I'm going to wait for SS to discount it and offer free shipping before buying one... You know it will happen

I'm going to be honest ....I don't like the body sculpt on this. IMO, the portraits look good so far, but her torso, butt and legs need work. Her waist looks wide for a side view. Her butt looks square instead of round. Her legs need a tad more shape.

A beautiful body sculpt of Emma from a side view perspective should look like this:

Will keep an eye out for improvements as this progresses. But as of right now, I'm not liking it.

The styles between the comiquette and XM piece are so far apart.
IMO, the comiquette is stylized, while the XM is more realistic.
I think the butt on the Comiquette is flatter, smoother. The rear on the XM is more of a bubble, has a crease from rear to thigh.
Why use the same style of body on both Emma pieces? That would be boring.

I am a fan of both pieces. But I tend to bend towards the more realistic pieces.

Not sure how I feel about the mix of Hellfire and modern elements on this piece.
I am not a fan of the fur trimmed cloak with the linear, modern outfit.
I also don't think her top matches the pants. They should add some of the linear textures of her pants to the top. I like that textured panel on the thigh.
They could do that by adding a zipper to the front of the top and putting that texture on both sides of the zipper.

That's not really a picture of her from the sideview, it's more of a 3/4 view showing her side and front.. which gives a wider view... it will be interesting to see what the final product looks like once it's sculpted...

Is Marvel stingy with their worldwide licenses? As much as I envy the 1/4 collectors for having the chance to own these glorious X-men statues, I hoping against hope that XM can even do a 1/6 run focusing on retro costumes. XM is killing it with their Rebirth statues.

I just want to be able to see the goods. The current outfit and the way the cape is situated just doesnt permit that.
