I like the direction P1 is going with these. Coolprops attempted to replicate exactly what is standing in the museum with their Big Chap, and that’s cool and there’s a place for that in people’s collections. Contrast that with P1’s take on the Big Chap, perhaps slightly stylized, and without question a more detailed paint scheme. Their standing Big Chap reminds me of a larger, better painted Sano sculpt. I think Coolprops is attempting to strictly adhere to the movies, while P1 offers something slightly...more. Or different.

Would love to own both of them. Cool and Prime. They both represent the character as the movie had different versions as well. Like man in a spandex suit and the creepy animatronical version. I just wonder, why this one is still not on pre-order. It was announced so long ago.

Looking at these side by side I think I prefer the Coolprops Warrior over P1 mainly because of the pose. I have to think the CP will cost less the P1's too. Factory paint results aside.

Well, Prime 1's version is up for preorder with a late 2021 ETA. $1600 standard, $1900 regular.

The ball is in CoolProps' court. I'm not crazy about Prime 1's base, nor the pose, nor the proportions, so I'm curious to see what CP have done in the [almost] year since we've last heard from them.

Has anyone seen this video? Beesub, the artist who worked on it, posted it a while back. I agree that the base is too big, but the design of it is superior to Prime 1's IMO. Feels less cobbled together and the homages to the movie (Casey's head) blend into the environment in a believable way.

Can't say I'm a fan of Prime 1's either. But I didn't like what CP showed off initially, maybe they will alter theirs, as you say, the ball is firmly in their court now.
