DC Dynamics Statues

I just got the Green Lantern statue and, with Batman,, I now have two. Does anyone know where toget a self powered, self contained led or light that would fit in the cavities of these statues ?

If you have a local display company that sells showcases for small (and large) businesses, try them. Most will sell to the general public and you'd be surprised what you can find there sometimes for display ideas. Acryllic stands (like those that have been discussed on here in the past in other threads), black velvet risers, rotating battery operated bases, and much more!

You could try to do it yourself. There are "floating" shelf units you can buy and install yourself. Many of the are hollow so you could put the lighting unit inside the shelf. You'd have to drill into the wall and fish the cord down behind the dry wall (or whatever) and out to an outlet. A key would be to make sure you can replace whatever lights you use when needed. At the plug you could put a remote controlled switch (there are lot of them sold to turn on your lights inside your house while you're still in the car) that would turn on and off the lights.

yeah i just got my Batman over @ Universal City Walk. good price (i think) since they were having a sale of the Dynamics line. I would love to get some ideas about the lighting as well.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

congratulations!!!

Green Lantern is my second favorite with this line. Aquaman still holds the first and Wonder Woman the least.

They all look great (though I'm not crazy about Batman and skipped it). I was sad that they didn't include the yellow S-shield on Superman's cape. I was also sad that the new GL movie doesn't have a costume as cool as on the dynamics piece. Would white gloves have really been that bad? No, no they wouldn't.
