Wolverine and Venom Bookends

Apparently these debuted at SDCC, Venom is already up for pre-order. No word on Wolverine yet.

I need to see Wolverine from another angle. If it's sick, I'll definitely be picking him up.

Venom I can't say I'm impressed by though, not a fan of those legs at all.

I actually like Venom. Someone said you can take off that side piece and display them as statues instead of bookends.

You can. The sides aren't attached to anything, you just slide them underneath. Check out this hulk one:

Ahh... I didn't realize they were not attached to the base.

100% independent. Here's the bottom of the bases:

It's a good thing though, you can put them in the front, back, or the sides this way. And they definitely stay flat with the weight of the statues (the hulk and thing are some heavy sucka's!)

Wolvie is now up for pre-order! http://www.gentlegiantltd.com/product_p/80212.htm

If it turns into another 2yr wait like it did with Hulk and The Thing I'm gonna be pissed... But here's to wishful thinking!

I'm a lot more interested in Wolverine now that the promo pics show him with the shoulder pads. He just looked weird without them. But given how lackluster the paint job is on Hulk, I'm not comfortable pre-ordering any of these.
