I know ppl are going to get on my back when I say this, but these look like junk.
I think this character was a bad choice for a mini bust - just like an R2 bust would be a horrible idea...

R2 is a flat out stupid choice for a mini-bust, no questions there. The Jawas are 50/50. It's cool you get two of them, but with their size, I would've liked a set of like 3 or 4 statues for around $100 instead of paying around $50 for two half Jawas.

The Ewoks are going to look cool though when released. The better make them- they can make all these stupid clones, so why not some characters who actually had effort put into their designs?

Gah!! Realized after seeing the pics in this thread.. they're busts.. not fs statues.

First and only time I've broken my "no-bust" rule.. but they're Jawas... placed properly, you won't be able to tell the difference. (ie they're short and robed. )

This is very true. Why do people think Jake Lloyd was horrible. He didn't write his own dialogue so don't blame him. He actually did a pretty good job, when you watch these others kids playing young anni you realize that Lloyd "is" Anakin and its hard to imagine anyone else playing him so he really did make anakin his own.

To make a bust of a character who is already half size is just ridiculous ... regardless of the character choice or how well they are made. They're not even busts really, they're half-bodies. They'll just make anything and everything, and the mini-busts line is more profitable than the statue line, so they make mini-busts of half-sized characters when there is no need to do so and a full statue would be much better suited.

No kidding. Samuel L. Jackson can't act to save his life but no one seems to mind his poorly done scene where he tries to arrest Palpatine.

You know what'd be rediculous? If SideShow did a 1:1 bust of a Jawa.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Jake Lloyd was horrible because this was the first thing he did. He gets a LOT better between the two movies, but a lot of it has to do with the set up. He just wasnt good at being a teenage drama queen and he came off as whiny. However I believed that he was stupid enough to take on Obi-wan, so it worked out. Episode 2 was an all around pile though in a lot of cases.
