I think people have been saying that for the past handful of years, if not longer.
So it all depends if you’re fine waiting an undefined period of time.

Pick up the XM Mark VII, that is the Ferrari of Iron Man statues, or the SS Mark VI. and the other gem is the Iron Studios Mark 42. Granted all will be over $600 but they are top 3 IMO for 1/4 scale IM statues.

Def not as awkward! Explosion effects actually looks pretty amazing in statue form with the light up.
Don’t collect movie pieces though and that $800 price tag...

About 80% (if not more) of the forums don’t collect movie related pieces.
And those few of us that do, already have MCU versions in our collection.
I myself already have 4-5 1/4 scales, and a few 1/6 scale figures.

Yep. It's nice, but I'm just not really into movie based pieces. Even though Iron Man is a little bit easier to be ok with since there's no real life likeness to deal with. They'll get around to a comic based IM eventually.

It's my favorite movie armor, and the suit looks very accurate but the pose isn't really drawing me in. I've watched a few videos and the piece looks decent enough and maybe 5 years ago I would've been eager to purchase this, but not now.

The pose is pretty much exactly how they had IM swoop in and come to a hover in the MCU.
Lighting is fantastic. When not lit it is a bit less impressive.
Comic version vs MCU debate for IM is very funny to me. It is tge one character that doesn't make sense to yearn for a comic version, imo.

Not an IM fan but that lighting looks stellar.
