7 out of 10 for me too. It's just as flawed as the first Avengers but different flaws. The shoehorning of the Infinity gems didn't work and the cave scene was clunky.
The visions people saw when ScarW whammied then, just took too long and slowed the pace of the action.
the lack of exposition of the Hydra scientists and the twins, probobaly threw a lot of the casual viewers off.
I really thought that Vision was going to place a more important rule in taking down Ultron. He was just part of the team and wasn't essential in stopping Ultron.
And I cry foul if Marvel expects us to believe that no one died because of Ultron. Some people hated on Man of Steel because Superman didn't get Zod out of Metropolis and people died. But here Stark and Banner are directly responsible for Ultron and all the destruction and death he caused. Plus Marvel should have killed off one of the core Avengers to demonstrate that there are real stakes. Even Hawkeye gets severely wounded but can just walk it off. There just doesn't seem to be an repercussions in the Marvel universe.
Enjoyable movie, but it was really busy in spots. I know there have been stories online about the Marvel execs dictating the Thanos connection. But studio notes are nothing new and Whedon could have come up with something more clever than the pool. It does seem like they ran out of time making the movie. The editing doesn't look polished at points.
I hope the Civil War can provide a compelling story even with the large cast. And for goodness sake, there better not be any Infinity Gems.

I don't understand the obsession with the Infinity Gauntlet by Marvel Studios and most fans. Having reread it a year or so again it really is a mediocre at best story. While it has one of, if not the, best Captain America moment ever, pretty much everyone was just canon fodder for Adam Warlock's gambit. After that lots of "phenomenal cosmic powers" nonsense. I really dont see all the reality bending playing well with a general audience. Lots of rose coloured nostalgia glasses on when looking back at that property methinks.

I don't think Marvel expects anyone to think that. Just because the movie ended and there were no repercussions for Stark/Banner doesn't mean they aren't coming.
That issue was brought up by many (the deaths and destruction in MoS) but to me that is mostly because it seems to fly in the face of everything Supes is about. Stark is reformed and tries to do good but he is no where near the level expected of him that Supes has.
I thought QS giving his life to save Hawkeye was a repercussion, but that's just me.

The Infinity Gauntlet represents one of the first major storylines since Secret Wars that involved most of the major cast of superheroes, so I think it certainly has some gravitas in the history overall.
The screenwriters are already adept at writing something for the public, having written Captain America 2, so I'm sure with the Disney machine cranking behind 'em, they will come up with something that is digestible for the general audience. Afterall, they do need to sell those plushes and toys no?

No, Juggernaut's armor including his helmet are from the Crimson Dimension of Cyttorak. Juggernaut's mentioned before in various comics that he made alterations to how he secured the helmet to his armor, or when he created the small skull cap helmet he wore for awhile under his main helmet from scraps of the magic metal he had. One of it's magical qualities is that it keeps his mind safe from Xavier and other's with psychic powers. Juggernaut's mind is the only part of him that is vulnerable to attack. End of nerd rant.
