Does anyone have any cool stories or OA/sketches collected over the weekend at Supanova Sydney?

Man, 4 days is waaay too long to wait for PerthNova.

Is anyone else making the trek over to Perth from the Eastern States?

Not this year unfortunately
I'm sad, it means I don't get to devour some slow-roasted lamb shanks at Casa Wrothy

Great to see Rod, Stephanie, Belinda, Ryan, Nik, Anthony, Alex, Harrison, and so many others at Supanova Sydney! It certainly looked like people were having a great time It was an incredibly busy show (not surprisingly) but generally went well with only minor problems to my limited knowledge (ie in my own area).

Thanks to Rod for an intro to Stan's Manager/PA Max who was a very friendly and helpful chap!

Alan Davis had fans lining up throughout the show and Paul Ryan also had a great reception - both commented on how relaxed Aussie fans were and enjoyed meeting everyone at the show!

The turn-out for the IDW portfolio reviews was very good with all sessions booked out and more sessions added. I received great comments from the Aussie creators who attended the review sessions including Adam and Wayne Nichols, Jeffrey Cruz, Andrew Constant, Darren Close and many more who approached me during and at the close of the show with positive feedback.

Hope to scan a truly delightful Shanna the She-Devil piece by Alan Davis soon!

Fun story - The Supanova Guest Manager (Felicity) and I were behind the guest signing area where she was briefing me on some guest requirements. She suddenly realised that I had zoned out and was no longer paying attention to her so she looked behind to see what was distracting me - it was the sight of Ming Na Wen walking up to the guest signing area - I just lost all train of thought!

I only interacted with a few of the Film/TV guests during the Sydney show but it was great to see Vic Mignona again and to meet Jamie Bamber for the first time (such a nice guy) and Grant Imahara was such a cool guy to talk to!

Now looking forward to Supanova Perth and a Shanna piece from David Yardin!

Hey guys, can anyone confirm what David Yardin's rates were for his A4 busts he was offering for pre-con sketches, from last week's Supanova in Sydney?

I'm just trying to confirm if there was any pricing difference between earlier this year and now?

I believe it is $400 for a 11x14 bust or half body.
$600 for an 11x17 full body.
