No doubt. Just saying they give a 2 business day grace period to re-run on a NRD (5 on a payment). So Monday they would have done the courtesy pull before canceling. So any such orders would now be hitting the WL.

I only mentioned being surprised I was charged immediately because usually an order I place takes a couple of days. Anyone trying to ‘float’ their PO might have been banking on the usual timeline.

I was shocked too that I was charged the NRD so fast. Less than 24 hrs

I'm always charged fast for my NRD. Within 2 hours after I clicked the pre-order button.

This is the first time I have ever been charged 'day of'. It wasn't even pending which also usually happens with a SS charge, it came out within a few hours. I'm not complaining about that, I have just never seen it on one of my orders. Heck, I have had a few that took like 5 days to show up from my account.

I guess if you were hoping for a little time to think about this one and get your place in line by going on the WL and expecting a heads up email before the charge, not so much. The house always wins. Automated system.

I have about 86 orders on my account and this is the first for me. Normally, it is 48 hrs. Sometimes longer.

Also, don't forget sometimes people might order and get their card declined when it's time to take the NRD.

I'm sure one or two people in this hobby have maxed out credit cards. lol
