Could have been worse.
They could have put googly eyes on him like all the kids shows during the day.

nice to see Rick & Morty return, but was still annoyed to miss Jack. enjoying the series so far, was happy to see how Jack reacted to the attack last week though. I don't want to see him turn into a homicidal maniac, but it's pretty naïve to think he's never killed anybody (despite Gendy back peddling on instances in the original series where he most certainly did).

I'm a huge fan of Rick and Morty and I still thought it was a dick move for them to not air Samurai Jack.

"Hey guys, wouldn't it be funny if we didn't air the sheduled programming of this beloved series?"

Who the hell said "Yeah! That's gonna be hilarious!"?

you must be new to Adult Swim Lum, they always do stupid stuff on April Fools. one year they played that awful The Room movie all night, and occasionally they'll super impose some stupid image over the shows. it sucks when it falls on a day with shows I actually like

I've been watching Adult Swim since it started with Home Movies. So no, I wouldn't say I'm new to it. I guess watching all of my shows off the DVR has helped me avoid most of their April Fools "pranks". Cuz I don't recall anything like this.

Anyway, it's no big deal because I know the intended episode will eventually air. I can just sympathize with those who were looking forward to it. That said, I can't imagine I'd be as cool with it if it wasn't replaced with the debut of the new season of Rick and Morty.

Being an actual good episode of a good show softened the blow for sure.
