Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks

Ok, I didn't see a thread for this game so I had to start one. Anyone else love this game....it just rocks! 50% done and can't stop playing it! The fatalities are sick! Anyone finished this yet?

sorry I havn't lent you 2 cents on this brother.

THIS GAME ROCKS

MK has always been "my game", and this new one is no exception. I'm not super far into it, but I like it so far. Very sweet...

I am completely with you two guys, this game is freakin' great! . I have been a die hard mortal kombat fan since the first game came out waaay back but lost interest after the 3rd one was released as it lost some of the pazazz the first two had. Deception last year got me back into the mortal kombat swing of things though. Anyway, ever since seeing this game being talked about about a year or so ago I kind of got excited and thought that maybe, just maybe this game could be awesome because it was focusing on MK 2 which is not only mine but probably most everyones favorite of the series. All I can say is WOW, just WOW. This game totally exceeded all my epectations and To be honest about it, it is the most fun I have had playing a game in a looong time. To all the doubters, YES, it is that d@mn good!

I haven't heard much about it.

Is it a fighter or does it have some story or adventure element to it?

This game is a story/adventure, not to be compared to Sub Zero Mythologies. Shaolin Monks offers so much action, earning experience so you can upgrade your character with moves & combos. There are also so many secrets to find its just awesome!

hey, can you only save the game at a save points? I get half way through the wu shu academy, then I die, and I'm all the way back to goro's lair? WTF¿

i've always been a Capcom Fighter guy. MK never did it for me. this game is no exception. it's a bit too easy. and i've fallen thru the map, more than once. and as Sam points out, save points are scarce.

Haha that's how Sub Zero Mythologies was, at save points or actually after a level. I hated that. But can you do the moves from the fighting game in this too? This sounds really good I might have to pick it up soon. That's if I ever get financially balanced after SS heh.

Have you played the new Street Fighter game for the Xbox that is Live and has all the characters from the Street Series plus Darkstalkers and others? I wanna know how well it plays, if it's too easy like Marvel vs. Capcom or true Street Fighter plus how well it plays on the Xbox controller. I have the S one.
