Thus bringing us back to the 70s.

Why do i think this? Joe Q is trying to bring back older characters and older story lines, bowen is doing more and more 70s characters etc.... Seems like marvel is trying to go back in time now.

"Agreed, Number One"

Issue #6: In a battle that's ravaging Earth, the Skrull leader will suddenly realize that the conquest he's fighting for is detroying his prize, so he'll just up and give up out of nowhere.

Three months later, Captain Marvel will assassinate him. This will lead into the Secret Civil War event for late 2008.

other thing that comes to mind is Joe Q has stated a number of times that they dont care about continuity. Which seems to show more now they knew they were gonna reboot marvel. So just throw out a ton of marketing events to gain sales since no matter what they write will just be wiped out anyway.

What better way for continuity is to wipe everything out, and start from scratch or the point in which continuity got fubard.

from what I read from alot of interviews with writers is that they are asking Joe Q for such storylines..a good editor knows how to keep his staff happy and then what to do and don't.

Since Marvel is more popular than ever...good job.

Speaking of that in New Avengers Illuminati after they beat the Black Bolt skrull and the group all leave because they don`t trust each other where does the timeline of that meeting take place because in secret invasion #1 Tony is showing Hank and Reed the Elektra corpse for a second time and it seems like this is the first time Reed has seen it?

See thats the problem i have had with marvel for a long time. Even tho people had bad feelings towards stories like Onslaught, it still had continuity from X-men days of future past where the traitor killed off the x-men etc...

Lately so much has been re-written i gave up. So i cant even help with the Illuminati cause i havent read anything since HoM.
