The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I absolutely love the xbox but it looks like with the next generation consoles I may be leaning towards going back to Sony and the PS3.

according to reports, the HardDrive version (XBOX 360 HD) is backwards compatible.
my current box is modded, it's the greatest piece of home entertainment equipment out there. and i'm not talking about the copying and such. the streaming media, networkable media between PCs and TV screen. it's awesome.

I'm more of a Rainbow Six 3 fan and I don't know why they're releasing Lockdown on the old xbox when the xbox 360 comes out just a couple of months later
There's also a rumor that Halo 3 and the new Playstation are going to be released at the same time
I'll be stickin with xbox for a long time

Sweet! I've been (sporadically) looking for that info. Since the SO took the X-Boxes, the PS2, and all the games, I'm left with my PC. And I need my Dead or Alive fix!
If the 360 is backwards compatible, I'll hold out until it comes out.

My only gripe about Xbox 360 is that even though it's backwards compatible, there's no way of transfering the saved data from the xbox to the 360. I don't know about you guys but I went through HELL with Ninja Gaiden & to unlock the 3 8-bit version games. I would like to transfer the info from one system to another but there is no way of doing this.

Its not a rumor, it is stated from Bill Gates own mouth.
He said he wants to destroy the PS3, so when PS3 Comes out on opening day they will run into not only Halo 3 but also the movies release of Halo.
