Window Treatment to protect collectibles?

Anyone ever put up UV film or any other window treatment to help keep the paint on your statues/collectibles/etc from fading? I'm moving into a new room that is very open with lots of windows. I like the natural sunlight (prefer not to use blackout curtains) and wondered if anybody has used anything like this and can report on its ability to keep your stuff pristine?

I have not, but am also interested in this.

Along with the UV, if something is right next to the window I’d be concerned about heat. More so if it’s a statue.
