I've probably mentioned that multiple times... just bugs me that they're always so "savage/evil" in movies.

Not so much sharks, anymore. I just hate that they're killed so recklessly on sportsfishing boats. If they're seen when we're surfing, I'm still the first person out of the water.
Sharks are fantastic creatures, but.. they're unfeeling brutes. Wolves are quite the opposite. I was more of a shark fan when I was teaching, as they're fun curriculum for kids.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy (2011) - 8/10
Very enjoyable! No car chases, explosions, choreographed fights, or techno music - just a nice slow burn of a mystery. I also appreciated the grainy look and how it was shot more like a '70s film. Well done. My only complaint is that there were so many characters to keep track of, so I had a hard time figuring out what was going on through the first third of the movie. It eventually sorted itself out... I think.

Shark Night - 3/10 - Shoot, I rented expecting another Pirhanna 3-D, but it was more like a bad, sci-fi channel Sat.nigt flic w/ a tad more blood. Pretty bad.

I enjoyed the series and I love Greek culture (I've been to Greece several times ... for the Olympics, no less... was married to a Greek woman, will forever love Greek food, and their history is amazing), but this movie is almost "too" artistic for its own good. I might give it another shot and try and sit through it longer.

Real Steel - 6.5/10 - This could have been a whole lot better w/o the kid-subplot. Couldn't stand the kid and he just sunk the picture for me. The robots were great though, and I enjoyed the boxing between them. Fun.

Real Steel 7/10 wasn't too involved with it, but from what I did watch it was fun.
Bucky Larson 5.5/10 had some laughs but pretty dumb, Christina Ricci is getting pretty good looking.
