Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

If the criteria was 'movie accurate statues' I'd see your point. But Prime 1 never promised that. It's his company, its his vision, and he executed his resources until it reached his satisfaction. If a few fans say the Predators toenails aren't movie accurate, he has a right to balk. If movie accuracy is your driving motivation to preorder, then I can see the frustrations, but you guys dont make up a big enough consumer % for him to bother increasing dread or upper teeth thickness. Think about it, how many sales is he going to lose by having an inaccurate number of dread rings?

Good points on the base

I still think it would have been better to put one alien on the base, (but the entire body, with body damage, blood, guts whatever else) rather than three partial alien bits and pieces. Then with wolfs left hand reaching out, do a swap out of a severed alien head. That way you still get enough alien/s and also frees up base space for more better creative output as at the moment the base is messy and bland imo.

When the price drops, reality will drop and people will hesitate dropping 5-6k to get a excellent but otherwise flawed statue overall.
Definitely right on all those..one less alien, the hand grabbing the crotch all should be tweaked..I love the statue but it?s the first one out of the line up that went in a different direction with the base

Yes, I get you. I own a few businesses so I agree with Jhonny from the business point of view. But it comes down to this attitude. If you like it, you buy it. If not just ---- off.

Again, I thought the 1/3 line was supposed to be going for movie accuracy. I mean that was the whole point of the 1/3 line back in the day and in this forum, everyone was saying why 1/3 when there is 1/4 a few years back. (I could be wrong). Every predator statue forum has this issue back to the old sideshow maquette(or just jump into any predator forum) and thatis the beauty of the predator community is that we want it as accurate as possible(dying community though)

I mean look at the JH release with the numerous tweaks to make it as accurate as can be with the contestant updates from the fans. I was very happy with that release and experience, fans engaging with Prime 1 to get an accurate JH, very rare to see that nowadays. They did it before, why not now? It's a win-win on both sides.

Even the P2, Berseker & AVP preds were going for movie accuracy and weren't just an ideal version.

Speaking about cost, let me just say I have visited the factories where Prime 1 and other statute companies sub-con for their paint and it's not that expensive. Don't get me started with Coolprops drama.

Anyway, their sculpture is all done digitally in 3D. Let's be honest, just a few tweaks here and there aren't gonna take a lot of their time and the cost is also gonna be minimal especially if the statue is not under production. That is the beauty of a digital sculpt is that can be updated on the go and without much hassle.

Do bear with me, an old collector, haha, I just wanted to engage in this forum before I retire from this hobby after getting this last piece. At least I posted a reply here after looking at so many people's comments over the years.

If they really cared about cohesiveness, the City Hunter would've had a city-themed base.

Yes, he is. I mean just look at all his replies since day 1 But hey, it's his company. Even I won't talk to my customers that way.

He said my reference was terrible. Erm, my reference was an auction for the Wolf suit from ADI. It is one of the most clear pictures to date so see all the details.

Another treat if you want to see all the details of the wolf predator suit worn by Ian Whyte from ADI

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ve64...nnel=studioADI

You get to see all the details under white light, so no filter to affect the colors. I just wanted the fans who waited 8 years to have it right.

I just noticed that prime 1 wolf predator mask lends are slightly big.

The references were used for my repaint of the Coolprops wolf bust. Again, it was hard for me to get it right. Even i am not sure of the colour till today.

I think Neca(Prototype and promos) and wolf predator legendary scale figure got it quite close.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWG-...nnel=studioADI

Do note that that was painted by ADI not sideshow, so that is as accurate as it can be paint wise
