Wow, considering how much the statue costs and the limited distribution I image the edition size is going to be very small. I'm guessing 400-500.

if it's only through GG's website, doesn't that make it an exclusive?

like other "exclusives" it will be available for less from ADs if they don't sell out.
Can Rogue01 tell us the edition size? That will help some of us decide what to do...

I asked Rogue01 at wondercon what the edition size would be and he said to be determined.

They will allocate statues to distributors and retailers only when a website order has been canceled. Technically, that makes it a non-exclusive. That is how I am interpretating it.

Tell me if I'm wrong with your statement. Your saying retailers will get leftover after GG order are completed..?

If by "leftovers" you mean canceled orders, then yes.
Let's say, the edition size is 1500. The pre-order status is sold out. You and I were the only customers that canceled our orders. Those two statues are now going to be sent to retailers. Waiting to get it through distributors is a crap-shoot because we don't know how many orders will be canceled. The way I'm a reading it, is that GG will not even consider shipping to retailers until their pre-order is sold out. After that, then they'll wait for the canceled orders to come in. If not orders are canceled then no retailers will get it. But we both know that orders will be canceled. We just don't know how many.

well, that means they probably won't solicit to retailers until it's ready to ship which will probably be like 1 year away.
I think that if initial pre orders on the GG website are really good, they WON'T be offered to retailers.
If initial pre orders are somewhat lower than expected, then GG will Definitely solicit to retailers.
The initial pre order time is usually about a month, that way they can guage the demand for an item. so i'd say we have a few more weeks to see whether or not retailers will get them.
