No Steve is not Famous but he has done work for DC and etc on their coloring books in the last few years.. Steve is a buddy of mine the whole Onixan crew are some talented guys.
your whole art snobbery attitude is just ignorant have you ever thought that you might buy art from an artist BEFORE they are famous.... with more than a 1000 commissions/sketches in my collection and 20 years in collecting comic art. I have been lucky to get pieces by artists before they got a lucky break this is why I say give the non name guys a chance you never know who they will be in 5 years.....

Bad timing!
Yeah - sarcasm is hard to put through typed word - especially if you've never seen the other thread...

Im curious. Who did you get a sketch by before they ''made it big''? Out of 1000 random ass pieces of art, how many actually became successful in the industry?

I was able to snag a few McGuiness sketches when he was a nobody at the cons - his stuff was always great!

I don't think art has to be created by a "name" to be viewed as great art...don't get me wrong their are plenty of "names" I would love to score pieces from but if not...there are plenty of up and coming artists that could create brilliance just as nice...for me, I love the characters n possibilities far more than who is drawing them...so the charcters far out weigh the artists...
