Why would anyone use translucent resin for Wolverine head? They have been making statues the same way forever they are not changing now. Didn’t do it in Carnage or Thanos . Why this?

His face doesn't seem different than his arms from paint application view so where did You get this info. I think Sideshow would told us about such "feature" at sideshow live and in product description to make more interest.

They did this for the fairly recent Green Lantern PF. Looks really good IMO.

No they didn't. Recent Green Lantern PF was produced by Prime1 Studio and they use translucent resin in almost all new statues for lifelike skin effect. Sideshow cooperation with Prime1 was to allow them use DC 1/4 licence belong to Sideshow.

I wasn't clear. Wasn't talking about P1. The most recent SS GL was made with a translucent resin, which is what I thought you fellas were talking about.
