it's happening with every company unfortunately.
Thankfully, xm had the forethought to let folks register their statues. Easy enough to tell what is and isn't fake.

Yea, there have been several posts and comments about it already. It's not a shock given the awesomeness of this piece.
XM really needs to get the law on their side about this and start hammering away and letting ebay know these are frauds.
The collecting community can also help when they see recasts posted on ebay. Report report report!!

Also if you look at the listing the pics show the bottom of the statue and it has what appears to be the XM stamp so either they are copying that as well or more than likely using the REAL statue for the pics.

the guy pretty much told ebay that its fake. He put in his title - Magneto Recast. Lol and it's still up
