Yeah, it's been brought up multiple times before. My guess, as well as hope, is that their measurements listed are incorrect. One big argument for them being incorrect is height vs. width. It's listed as 50cm wide and 46cm high, which goes against the picture (and against what people who saw it in person said). The main frontal pic seems to show the widest side, and I measured the H/W ratio as 1.26, meaning if that thing really is 50cm wide, it's around 63cm high. Which would also support the 1/4 scale claim, making Lara approx. 150cm high in this slightly leaning forward pose. This honestly makes the most sense to me.
Sidenote, I did contact them through email, twitter and instagram regarding the measurements and never got a response.

I sent this email...
Hi, can you confirm that the dimensions listed for Lara Croft: Shadow of the Tomb Raider are correct? It's listed as 19.68" wide and 18.11" tall, but having seen it in San Diego, I don't remember it being wider than it is tall. Is it really just 18.11" tall?
Thanks,
Jeff
And got this response...
Hi Jeff,
Yes, those dimensions are correct.
The width includes the branches and leaves which make it wider than it appears.
Regards, Anika

I just put it all in a pic, I don't know, one really does make way more sense than the other:

It's absolutely not 1/6. When I saw it in San Diego, it didn't even occur to me that it was anything but 1/4. With that said, it was displayed by itself, not adjacent to other 1/4 scale pieces like you'd see at the Sideshow booth, so it's possible that it's slightly small for 1/4 scale, but I don't think scale was a topic of concern at the show.

I think the same thing. Even if it's only 1/5, I'm still ok for the price. So much detailed, and the big cat is amazing.
So, unless the production pieces are a shame...

But lets hope it doesn't come to the shame
I'm also more at ease that it is smaller than I had thought it would be

Maybe you saw a different statue?
This doesn't look even close to 1:4 scale. I think it's safe to say that this a 1:5 scale piece at best:
I'm really disappointed.

No thanks. Life size takes too much space.
So, it could be 1/5,5.... But considering the size of the base, it's still big enough for me.
