I wish Bowen would get DC contract. If they don't and they don't get Marvel I don't see how they are going to stay in business. Look what happened to HH after they lost their Marvel contract.

The difference being that RB might be ready to retire anyways based on the rumors I have seen floated on here.

Hopefully not. The folks negotiating for Marvel need to realize Bowen has been a long supporter and as long as they are making money that it is worth it.

I wouldn't put a lot of stock in that rumor, considering he just built a giant new studio.

You're the second one I saw this from. Where did you see that?

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

That was before all of this. People can change their mind in a heartbeat. Specially free spirit artists like Randy.

Well sure. A meteor could hit him too, but there's no indication of that happening, just like there's nothing to indicate he's retiring. There have been long gaps between phases before. IMO, it's a ----ty business practice, but it's not unheard of.

Going off of the facts, including 1) he built a brand new studio, 2) he's explicitly said he's still in negotiations, and 3) he's still been soliciting ideas and leaking works in progress, the signs point to "he's not retiring." I haven't seen anything to substantiate the claim that he's planning to retire. That seems like speculation carved out of whole cloth.
