we saw a DC comic many many years ago

in the comic all the silver age heroes battle a good guy turn bad

this good guy turn bad even took starman's staff and broke it

the good guy turn bad beat up all the good heros

does any souls here know what is the name of this comic?

I wonder if this was the Golden Age 4 part series. If so it was written by James Robinson and fantastic art by Paul Smith. It is absolutely one of my all time favorite mini series and can be found in various collected formats. I would highly recommend it.
