My last haul was a big one for me but 2 weeks ago I picked up:
Sandman Overture Deluxe Edition
Guardians of the Galaxy solo classics omnibus
Fantastic Four (Fraction, Bagley) omnibus
Batman Incorporated Absolute edition
Local comic store had a 50% off hardcovers deal so I picked up some stuff I wouldn't otherwise.

Nice haul dude
I'm waiting for Sandman Overture Absolute edition. I will probably wait at least 2 more years...
I need to check out that GoTG solo classics omni.
FF fraction run huh... They say fraction is hit or miss, he starts really strong but he gets pretty meh later on in his run. ( I just read his Iron Fist, and that was phonomenal but what i hear makes me coutious about Fraction nevertheless)
Batman Inc. was pretty fun, the end was kind of a let down for me though. I have it in HC format so i didn't get the absolute.

It was a good haul, I normally only buy a book every couple months or so but I knew this place was having a sale so I saved up some money
I heard the same about the F4 book but I got it for $40 CDN which is honestly a steal for any Omni in Canada... they are very expensive here!

That's very cheap ! you are lucky. If i could find it in such a cheap price, i would probably get it too. Omnibuses and absolutes are very expensive for me too as an internatinal costumer. For example/ i paid 111.86 dolars for my latest purches of Avenger by Jonathan Hickman Omnibus... Americans are so lucky, they only pay 65 dolars or something at instocktrades... If it was so cheap for me, i would get two times more omnibus than i usually get... Marvel and DC should give me a medal for my purcheses with those prices...

That's great I just read the first issue of it some time ago to sample abit and it was ok. I guess ''Batman beats unfotunate poor people'' accusations were very high at that issue's time cause it was ending like how Batman helps some criminals who were the victims of circumstances in the end and stuff as far as i remember and the main villain ''Crime Doctor'' was kind of silly. Ofcourse, i will continue to it, if i get my head up from manga....

Yeah, the early stories are just so-so. I remember really liking his stuff best when Alan Grant was doing the writing, and that appears to be in the second half of this book.

Second half gets better huh, good to hear. I will get back to it soon. Stories getting better is just a bonus, I wasn't complaining anyway, i got it for the top notch art just like i got The 3 Neal Adams HCs.
