Collectors who got in on the SDCC Exclusive Whisper from a few years ago should feel fortunate.

Those that received their exclusive three years ago must be happy.I don't understand what is taking so long on the first girl when they already have everything to produce it. Like the molds and materials. I think Gentle Giant needs to send out some apologies for this. There is no reason why all these girls shouldn't be done by now.

From what GG has said, all of them should ship in September/ October. If that actually happens, I am going to be in the dog house.

Congrats! It's a stunning piece from the pics I have seen.

I wouldn't expect any of them to be shipping in September or October. That is like the 5th or 6th time GG has given a ship date. In all the time that has passed since they were announced they should have at least one of them released and so far nothing and no explanation why they have been delayed so long. I really don't think they are serious about producing this line.

From what I've seen with the few GG pieces I have (Scarlett Jo's BW, Spider Maul, and some busts from early on), the paint app and overall quality is great. I don't mind waiting at all because I have faith that these will turn out great (and I there are too many other things coming in over the next few months) but I have to admit that I was disappointed that they were not showcased at SDCC this year.

I wonder if that means that they are too far away from being released and they wanted to show off their newer offerings...

I've been wondering about this line for quite some time now as I was really looking forward to Derby and Lucky.

That is fine and dandy, but the Sucker Punch girls, Black Widow, Artemesia, Daryl, Zombie Merle all came out great and within 16 months of them going up for pre-order. Why are these taking 2+ years?
