I think there's a 2-piece and a biscuit combo happening with the Star Wars license.
1st, Sideshow has been releasing pretty lame statues outright for the past couple of years, and Star Wars has been a huge swing and a miss with their offerings (new characters no one cares about, lame poses, lame EX's, final production pieces of said lameness, etc)
2nd, Disney has no idea what Star Wars is and what the fans want from it. And they're so stifling and controlling with this product that no license holder is being able to create anything that fans and collectors want because Disney is too focused on trying to get their stories pushed ahead of the old stories (EU characters, side characters from the main movies, Clone Wars edition characters, etc)
Biscuit, there are enough talented people out there in the open market who are modifying/creating way better characters and editions of Star Wars PF's than official companies are. And after all these years of asking SS to finally create what fans want and getting nothing from it, collectors just aren't bothering/caring for new stuff anymore..

If Prime 1 has the license It’ll strain my finances. If Prime 1 devotes some of their time and creativity to original trilogy vehicles, I’ll go broke.

They very rarely comment on anything like this. Their lack of communication doesn't validate pure speculation.
But you can bet your last penny that Prime 1 will be eager for the SW license, they have almost everything else.....

Yes I know I have watched SSC and many companies bail from licenses and not say a thing for 14 years. Just F4F with GI Joes and TF the one company to admit they didn't have a license anymore.
I was thinking more they come here and say we do have the license

I wish Iron Studios would fully take over the Star Wars 1/4 license. They made the best Darth Vader statue yet and their Yoda looks like another amazing piece.
SS can't even make a Luke Skywalker that isn't in some wonky dancing pose.
