Is this Silvestri Wildcats cover published?

If so, what issue is it from? Thanks.

Dunno, but it looks cool. Is it yours?

Nah, a friend of mine is thinking about getting it, but wants to know if it's actually published or not.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I have looked at that piece myself and thought of buying it. It is beautiful. I looked but have been unable to find it. I'll see what I can dig up.

It's a stunning cover quality piece anyway.
However, I would also prefer a published piece.

i am a big wildcats fan and have not seen it but i have been out of comics for the last 8 years
it may have been a con exclusive or part of a poster book image was big into variants and such like - i kept up with most during the popular Wild CATS years but as i have said previously never seen this one.
It is however an awesome piece

Keep in mind that WildCATs has been with DC since around 2000. Silvestri never did a piece for DC unless it was a crossover. If it was published it had to be when Wildstorm was with Image. But I think this piece more resembles his recent style in Hunter Killer than Cyberforce in the 90's. I don't think it was published.

I could it find it anywhere. The top of the artwork where the information normally is has been cut off in this picture. Have your buddy ask for more pictures or better yet a scan. If he's considering paying Silvestri cover prices then that is a reasonable request. Then you could get a glimpse at the top.
