Rate MCU villains
This for me has been the weak point in most of Marvels movies. The villains just have not been compelling. How would you rate them and how can Marvel improve?
Ironman 1: Ironmonger 5/10
Ironman 2: Ivan Vanko 5/10 - Justin Hammer 5.5/10
Ironman 3: The Mandrain 4/10
Thor 1: Loki 7/10
Thor 2: Malekith 5.5/10
Captain America 1: Red Skull 5/10
Captain America 2: Winter Soldier 6/10
Avengers 1: Loki 8/10
Avengers 2: Ultron 6/10
Guardians of the Galaxy: Ronan the accuser 5/10
Ant-man: Yellowjacket 5.5/10

I think the main cause of the issue with villains in recent hero movies is that the villains are given barely any screen time. And any time that they're on screen they're portrayed as insane generic evil person who wants to kill or destroy whatever.
Definitely need more sympathetic villains or at least villains who have good goals being done via evil means with more screen time to explain their motives.

I totally agree with your assessment. I would add Thanos to the list. Although we haven't seen much of him yet, in what little we have, he has been very menacing and imposing on screen. I would say that he has been the best villain thus far.

I could see the argument that Alexander Pierce is more the villain than Winter Soldier in Cap 2.
I agree though. The villains so far have been very shallow. They had the perfect actor for Red Skull and gave him little to work with.
I think Zod from MoS has actually had more depth than any MCU villain.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I was mainly referring to a Marvel studios. I think fox has been better with their villains (Xmen). But sure if you want to include some.

Marvel tends not to make their movies more lighthearted with lots of humor, where as to have a good villain you need to make the movie a bit more dark.
