ReelArt's Doc Savage photos on their website

I've always liked statues that captured the likeness of an established character and ReelArt's Doc Savage evokes the Bama look. I know it's another painter but I like Bama's model kit paintings.

Nice touch to have Doc's hair glass smooth like the paintings.

ReelArt continues to impress me with their amazing high level of quality (like on their Sheena.) I think I'll get this one.

Been waitiing for a pre-painted Doc longer than I've been collecting statues. He's my ultimate wish list topper. He's an amazing character. This is great.

Guys, for those of you who don't know him, Bob Larkin, was one of the most prolific cover artists of the 1970's and 80's and on top of that he is one of the finest men you'd ever want to meet. He is very open to fans and so humble it is amazing.

He has a new book coming out which I hope you will support. More info on Bob here:

I love this one too! Holy cow there is a lot of quality stuff coming out. I believe Doc Savage stuff is out of print right? Maybe Reel Art can get the rights to publish some of it again to go along with the statues, one sales arm (statues) supports the other (publishing) and vice versa. Also, I would imagine this is a small run piece because of the age and relative obscurity of the character. Maybe you could include a signed print from Mr. Larkin either as an additional fee option or as a separate item. Maybe make a package available whereby there is an autographed print from Larkin and the statue is autographed by Tony C. Just random thoughts.

There are new doubles of Doc and The Shadow being printed as of 2006 by my good friend and ex DC colorist, Anthony Tollin. More info here:

These books are great and excellent quality.

Your ideas are excellent. Edition size will be 1000 pre paint and 30 special order true bronze. Larkin
will probably do some traveling with us to do personal signings. The print idea is excellent and Bob and I have been talking about that. As for getting Tony to sign anything...I'm not sure that is possible.
