It must be quite a challenge to come up with an Iron Man statue pose which hasn't been done before. Iron Man is one of the most sculpted pieces in the industry. I love the choice of armor on this one.

All of the 1/6 Hive work has been based on the Avengers Assemble Animated TV program. That classic armour isn't.

Hey guys, the Classic Ironman is 1/4 to go along with all our other classic Avengers setup (NYC base). HX project (with HMO) are all 1/6 and is based on the Assemble Animated series.

Classic Ironman costume is based on the Style guide for the classic costume series so the challenge on our end was how do we make it look more modern and detailed? The classic costume design itself is quite simple. For the other classic Avengers, we could play with texture, seams, buckles but with this Classic Ironman, we will need to follow closely to the style guide or risk getting rejected when it comes to approvals. It's not easy but Seng and the creative team will be adding on the XM 'touch'. Speaking of XM touch, I'm working with Erick to help define the meaning of XM 'touch' more clearly. I've also made Erick an Admin of our XM facebook page so he can pose more of his cheeky faces up. Make sure you LIKE those cheeky faces. I know I will!

Cool...that is definitely an old school take on Iron Man...that's how I remember him from my childhood. Interesting piece.

That Hawkeye print is boss.

Well, there you go. I presumed incorrectly ...this is 1/4 scale ...and already I'm hooked on the initial look.
