The unboxing experience is always a very important moment for any collector. After having waited for their toy and or statue for months - in a lot of cases, even years - finally getting their collectible in-hand is the ultimate reward.

Luckily, House of Gog collectors do not wait years for their art piece, but it is rewarding the same!

From a statue maker and artist?s perspective, the experience is quite similar.

Although we are usually ?fast?, making statues can take a long time (ex: 2-3 years, from original idea to shipping to collectors). So laying eyes on the final prototype for the first time is one of the most incredible experiences possible for us too and even more so, for the artist, seeing his or her work in a 3D physical form for the first time.

GORAXX PRODUCTION UPDATE - SHIPPING Q1 2023

What's up everyone,

Goraxx and his army of nightmare children are upon us!

Here are the first [ongoing] production photos for Goraxx, the monster maker from the original art of horror and fantasy Oakland-based artist, Skinner.

This is an official collaboration with the artist.

Production is well on the way and we are confident to be able to have Goraxx ready to ship Q1 2023 or prior! This means that if all goes well, your pre-orders should ship before Chinese New Year, during the month of January or February 2023 at the latest, so the wait is almost over *heavy breathing*

A friendly reminder to the new collectors out there, that in the toy and statue industry, in many cases, collectors can wait up to 2-3 years before their collectible is ready to ship from pre-ordering, so we are very happy to be able to keep this waiting time to around 6 months, which is a feat on its own (FYI pre-orders open less than 4 months ago).

Our production team is doing incredible work considering the busy production pipeline and how complex Goraxx is to produce (sculpt, ?free hand? paint application, etc.)

At this stage, paint has been done on a large chunk of the pieces but there is a lot of paint work yet to be done. Next steps alongside paint, assembly and the first round of quality control will be the production of our deluxe ?soft-touch? art boxes, foams, pedestal plate and the shipper boxes.

That being said, we are on track with Q1 2023 shipping for Goraxx (￣^￣)ゞ

Remember, it's our team, our production workshop and our passion; so it?s always hands-on and directly from the source!

GORAXX PRODUCTION UPDATE # 2

What?s up everyone!

A quick update on Goraxx production.

Our production team just came back from Chinese New Year, so everyone is almost at full throttle.

We are finalizing production and assembly.

Skinner just finished hand-signing all the pedestal plates for Goraxx. A reminder that all House of Gog statues and statuettes are signed by hand, by the artist.

We are still pretty much on track but delivery might spill into early Q2 2023, but we should be able to ship by May 2023 at latest if everything goes well.

The last stretch of production is always where unforeseen issues pop up and where the fine tuning is completed.

Luckily, everything is relatively smooth for Goraxx, he is looking great so far, although it's always a tour de force.

?Easy? doesn't really exist in statue making but we are still making incredible time according to industry standards.

What?s up everyone,

After 8 months (since pre-orders open), Goraxx by Skinner is ready to take on his voyage across the ocean!

Goraxx production has been completed and all units will be packaged tomorrow (April 27, 2023) at our workshop.

This means that all fully paid orders for Asia, Oceania and parts of Europe (ex: France, GB) will start shipping in the next few days, directly from our workshop (in Asia).

For USA and Canada orders (a lot of you), you guys will have to wait until the main inventory makes it across the ocean via ocean freight (container), so it should be around 30-45 days transit. (That?s how we can offer a more affordable standard ground shipping fee to you).

For those with a deposit and a balance payable when the product is ready please, proceed with the payment of your balance but for USA & Canada customers with a deposit, you can make your balance payment in the next 30 days or earlier, since your order will only be ready to ship once product has been received at our Canadian warehouse.

We wish we could send all orders at the same time, but from a logistics and costs perspective, it is not possible to do so, so hang tight fellow earthians as the mighty conjuror is upon you!

Also note that we will send units for reviewers and a (very) small number of collaborators in the next few days, in order to make sure you guys have a sneak peak through their quality content and commentary.
