Nobody cared? Their Mom sure cared they got a broken nose.

The issue when dealing with nobility is where power resides. The Queen orders you to attack a child, the king orders you not to, which oath do you follow? This is why everyone was paralyzed by Alicent using the dagger. You intervene and could be committing an executable offense, there's no winning there.

There were no witnesses of the children's fight, just the aftermath, and the lost eye was far more pronounced than the broken nose or bruises and scrapes.

Viserys desperately trying to hold his family and himself together as the infighting escalates, great stuff.

Love that feeling, I'm hoping we get 3-4 seasons of a great cohesive narrative for the Dance.

Yes it was, some of the finest family dysfunction yet! And they had me going at the end, thinking Rhaenyra and Daemon actually agreed to kill Laenor, glad that wasn't the case. I'm assuming the guy pulled from the fireplace was the guard that Daemon killed.

Yes, that is true.

The major question is...Leanor's dragon.

Dragons bond to a singular rider. Only death frees the bond for a new rider. If someone tries to ride Seasmoke...it won't end well for them...

Oh that's a good point about Seasmoke, hadn't considered that. It's not like Laenor could keep a dragon in Essos while trying to maintain a low profile
