I can't remember if I posted this before or not.
If you're having trouble getting started with skin tones give this a read. When it gets to fine detailing I switch to Pan Pastels. Good luck, you'll do great!

You have already sent me the link
Thank you for taking the effort again. So far I haven't found anything better on the net

I think i try Pan Pastels for the shadows and the details

My never ending project
Whenever I have a little time I keep painting on Sonja

I followed @Warhead's advice and added shade and light to the hair.

Gloves and boots now look like old leather. I got that from a sideshow video in which the Mandalorien are painted.

I didn't like blue and white on the Dragon. I wanted it to shine icy.
I found the color Vallejo Model Air Metal Medium. The paint was applied with drybrush and the scales then redrawn with the brush.
You can't see it in the photo, but the ice-effect is really great.

With Metal Medium I also lightened the edges of the armor a bit

Sonja currently looks like this

For comparison.
This is how Sonja looked when I got her

Work on Kier goes on.

I wanted a light skin tone and currently only use Vallejo 72.703 Pale Flesh. I also use it to do the shading by adding a few more coats of paint. I just have to be careful not to turn it too pink.
I wear each layer very thinly and then wait a few hours until everything is dry. I let paint splashes or unclean areas dry and then remove them very carefully with 2000 wet sandpaper. That works very well.
But since I got the new compressor, painting with an airbrush is much, much better.

Thank you veryfigurefans

Next step is done.

To reduce the pink a little, I added a little of the Vallejo 72.770 Burned Flesh to the Vallejo 72.703 Pale Flesh.
As a result, the color goes a little towards yellow. I used it to apply two very thin layers.
My goal is Artemisia's arm skin color.

I don't want to apply more shading at the moment and I leave the body like that for the time being.
