Mine arrived today. I got #62. I'll need to create some space before I open it though. So it may be a while.

It took me forever to set her up. This is probably the most impressive piece that I own. I'm kind of in awe from it still if that makes sense.

Take some time with the snakes. They aren't meant to be a rigid rod which is how they come and don't be shy about bending them. They bend much more at the tip than the base. I try to tell a little story with each of the snakes and try to give each one a little personlity. The instruction booklet states that the best effect is achieved when the head is parallel to the ground and also curved and grouped close to Medusa's hairline. I tried having a few go in and out of the loops created by another snake and had a few look to the side and back so nothing can approach her unseen . . .

The flexible snakes make a big part of the bust in my opinion. She doesn't look nearly as cool "bald" if that makes any sense. When my daughter first saw it without the snakes, she just shrugged but the next morning with all 30 posed and in place, she was in awe.

It looked to me like a couple of snake were attacking each other. I thought that was a really cool idea and something I'm going to try to do with mine.
