Mermaid and Alice's likeness are phenomenal IMO. The only one I think kind of misses the mark (portrait wise) is Tink. I still love her, but her face is definitely off.

It would take serious cajones to make that.
I'd buy it in an instant.
I know all the why nots but I'd sell 90% of what I own to get these in 1/3.

I'm really excited about the prospect of this line continuing. There's a potential of a lot of great statues being made!
I've been waiting for a line to really grab me where I buy every release and it's looking like this may be it. Genuinely excited for future reveals!

They’ve done some pretty risqué statues in the past but that might be pushing it. Not that I wouldn’t love to see them do it. I think it would look beautiful as a statue.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Well they did release Slan (from Berserk) on their website and she's completely nude. This would be tame in comparison.
And let's not forget Sideshow's own Gallevarbe.

That pic shows less skin than SSC's recent Poison Ivy.

She's more covered up there than both the Little Mermaid and Tinkerbell. It's just hair and not clothes. Sleeping Beauty seems the most risque since all that's covering her is a sheer sheet, or Belle in lingerie.

Disney has no part in this line, so Sideshow can be true to the art.

I think these are a bit more tasteful than say, a lot of the anime statues that are released. I don't judge people for what they personally collect but I know for myself I couldn't pull it off.
I wanted to get Slan but I've realized a fully nude piece is a bit much for me.
So now we have these. Which, to me, are sexy but at the same time tastefully done.
These I can swing! They're gorgeous, bring out a bit of the Disney kid in me, and will look great together as a set. Plus they're super affordable and a line a truly believe may get the full treatment.
So many times in sideshow's past we've seen the start of a line, only to get a piece or two, and then the line to mysteriously vanish without a trace.
But these seem to have legs to carry it. I don't see myself not picking up a single one. I just hope they don't do that many variants colors. The little mermaid was fine as it was the first and I like both color schemes.
If it makes sense they should do it but not many of these call for different colors.
I'd be down for new sculpt variants later on down the line though! Like for example Campbell drew different variations of characters so to get a revisit of characters in a different sculpt would be sick!
