Variations in Castilene quality?

I ordered 3 packages of Castilene a few months ago.. and the first one I started working with seemed very hard and gritty compared to the oher 2. The other 2 seem very very smooth but not as hard. The harder variety is darker green wiht little bluish gritty chunks and the smoother is lghter with no chunks at all. The difference is so distinct it makes me wonder if they refined the batch recently or something.

Is this common? Or if not which one is the norm?

there is another therad around here that talks about issues with the new owners etc and the formula was not right. Claudio stated the new owners have "fixed" this and the next batch should be better. A lot of folks hope this happens.

Hi Von Doom:

The manufacturers have indeed fixed Castilene's little problems. Life may now resume its regularly scheduled programing. Enjoy!
