Seems I was right Marvel/Disney is going G rated on their statues now..
I wouldn't say the new Emma PF is G-rated. I see crack -----, skank alll over that piece. I can't believe people actually like that piece.

But isn't that how she's suppose to be in the comics?

Given the time frame of the Emma PF, I would say she was approved before Disney started to tone everything down in regards to female looks.... It just seems the latest comics have tone down the looks of the female proportions a lot compared to years ago... doesn't impact the comics at all IMO if the story is still good, but it's just more of an observation then anything..

In the comics she had more class, imo. The PF is just weird. I think the portraits could have been way prettier too. I just don't see it as an attractive sculpt, at all. I think they had too many artists working on it. Her curves are too exaggerated in areas, and her waist is too small. The choppy hair....ugh. A disaster. I wish it would have been closer to the comics. I was really looking forward to it, but there is no way I will buy that statue.

The Jean Grey PF had a bunch of artist work on it too, but that piece actually came out decent.

Exactly right...Adi Granov doesn't draw Frank Cho-ish curvy women...that's not his style.

These statues look consistent with Adi's previous work...if you're into that style.
