GG Star Wars contract??

Any body know the long term future plans of GG with regards to Star Wars product?? When does the contract end?

What do they intend to offer after the Darth Maul and Luke on TaunTaun?

Don't know. There are at least 30 SW characters that need to be busted. GG releases pieces at a snail's pace, but their quality is excellent. If another company could take up the reigns though, and produce busts in the same scale, style and quality, but released 8-10 busts a year, that would be fine by me.

I'm perfectly fine with their release schedule. Makes it easier on the wallet between Bowen, GG, SS, and others.

I agree.. but it's a bit frustrating one "sculpt" , say a clone trooper could yield about 15 different versions and exclusives.. an Anakin could be used twice as well. we are all used to Hasbro's schedule.. 80 figures in a year? not to mention repaints which for the most part collectors dug? I just want to see them use the license to it's fullest.

I understand the wallet crunch delimma, but 8 original busts from GG in a year would only run about $400. If they only do a couple of statues, no more, that would be fine with me. But we're talking about a company that puts out maybe 4 busts a year as compared with BD that puts out 20-24 in the same time period.
